The Atlanta BookPALS Program held its 8th Annual Summer Appreciation Picnic at Riverside Park in Roswell, Georgia in order to thank all of our wonderful BookPALS for their dedication in reading to the children during the 2007/2008 school year.
A very special thanks goes out to BookPAL Dennis Klein for his persistence and tenacity in obtaining space for BookPALS amidst the Chattahoochee River Race & Festival! Without you, our Picnic would not have happened.
This year's picnic was dedicated to Ted Manson, our beloved friend and BookPAL, who passed away earlier this month.
