Minnesota BookPALS would like to thank our friends at First Book for a special donation on October 11th. The distribution was at a warehouse here in the Twin Cities, so local coordinator Delta Giordano volunteered at the distribution for a couple of hours, then received 200 copies of MOMMY?, a new pop-up book illustrated by Maurice Sendak. The story about a little boy and monsters set the mood for Halloween. It was perfect timing since we were able to donate the books to Riverview West Side School of Excellence for their annual family literacy event that same night!
