First Book Donation to Minnesota BookPALS

Many thanks to First Book National Book Bank and Random House Children's Books for their generous donation to Minnesota BookPALS. The shipment wasn't expected until mid-summer, but the cartons were delivered to Delta's house on June 8th. Two MN BookPALS offered to hand books out to their students on June 12th, the last day of school in St. Paul. Nearly 300 children were able to go home with a brand new book for the summer!

The rest of the books will be distributed during summer school or early fall. Thanks to BookPALS Michelle Berg and Maggie Jonas for their help in distributing before school was over. We're grateful to First Book National Book Bank and Random House Children's Books for this wonderful opportunity.
