Dear Mrs. Babcock,
Thank you for all the things you have done for me and the rest of the class. I liked when you did something about Shakespeare. [In honor of Shakespeare's birthday on April 23rd, Mrs. Babcock acted the part of a "treats vendor" in a theatre - the Globe, perhaps - of Shakespeare's day by not only dressing and speaking the part, but by offering what might have been available in Ol' Will's time. She carried a basket of dried apricots, almonds, ginger snap cookies/biscuits, grapes and "treacle"/toffee. Making the story of Master Shakespeare "come alive" in this way helps the students to appreciate what a valuable literary legacy he has left to the world.] That was the best! Anyways, I bet you must have been here for a whole school year. Thank you, and have a good time.
