Atlanta BookPALS has been honored to have Heather on our team since 2001. Heather reads at Norton Park Elementary School in Smyrna, Georgia every Thursday and often participates in special events. Heather is one of our most enthusiastic readers and is a true asset to the BookPALS Program!
Counselor Peggy Keene of Norton Park said, "The children know Heather as a caring adult and a friend of the community. Heather participates in many school activities such as Book of the Month and Cultural Arts Day. Our students and teachers have enjoyed Heather's enthusiasm for books. We appreciate her being here to read and her smiling face! She is the best!"
Jackie Verner added, "Heather's heart is so big, she added first grade. She now reads to all 15 classes on a rotating schedule! None of the teachers want to miss out on Heather's dramatic readings!"
