We once again partnered with the Los Angeles Public Library in celebrating Dr. Seuss� birthday during Read Across America, the National Education Associations� national reading festival. On Saturday March 4th from 2-2:30, BookPALS were at over 40 branches revealing the magical characters and worlds of Dr. Seuss.
From Eagle Rock to Exposition Park and from Sun Valley to San Pedro BookPALS celebrated across the county. Special appearances by Larry Joe Campbell (According to Jim) at the Miraleste Library in Palos Verdes, Paul Hecht (Law & Order, Kate & Allie) at the Sherman Oaks Library, Joan Blair (Daddy Day Care) at the Studio City Library and Dangerman the Urban Superhero at the Vermont Square Library.
