An after-school "Seuss-a-thon" story hour was hosted by BookPALS and Media Bureau Networks (MBN) at MBN headquarters in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.

Children, teachers and parents from the following neighborhood groups attended:
Fairhill Elementary
Paradise Day Care Center
Congresso do los Latinos Unidos
Northern Liberties Community Center
Special guest star, the one-and-only Cat In The Hat, greeted the children and enjoyed snuggling on the rug for storytime. Featured books included "The Cat In The Hat," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Lorax".
