It was a total blast and the kids are great. They really liked pretending to carry a heavy door around and my Arnold Schwartzeneger impression (for lifting the heavy door and carrying it to cal-li-for-ni-a).

Another funny part was that they were most fascinated about how I'd learned Spanish and when I spoke in French for them they spent like 5 minutes curious about that.

I am fairly reserved, well shy anyway, but I have quite a dramatic streak when I relax (kind of Dr. Jeckyl, Mr. Silly). I got 4 of my compatriots at the legislature last year (I was clerking for the WA Senate) to read a Midsummer's Night Dream. We made it through the whole play and many of our committee staff would stop by the clerk room to watch and laugh. One of the reasons that I wanted to do BookPALS was to find an outlet for my fun with acting and voices and playfulness. Its promising so far :o)
