BOOKPALS Debbie Tully, Nancy Lee, Kristina Yuen and Seattle BookPALS Coordinator, Susan Alotrico are performing children's stories at Orca Elementary School on May 17.

The staged reading stories are: Why I Went Back and Oribul, Oribul. During the time of dinosaurs, the whale decided to explore the land. When he was given a poor reception he decided to return to the water. And, Oribul the crocodile eats only royalty and is determined to eat the new born princess. Stories written by Seattle writer, Kevin O’Morrison. Why? Few children learn to love books on their own. Someone has to lure them into the wonderful world of the written word; someone has to show them the way. Our BookPALS mission is to spread the love of books, the joy of reading and the hope of literacy.
