BookPALS will take 4 outstanding readers from Birney Elementary School and their parents to see a taping of the Wheel of Fortune, meet Vanna White and have their pictures taken with her at the puzzle board on March 31st.
BookPALS wonderful partner, Verizon, came up with the idea since "Wheel" will be in "America's Finest City" to tape the show for a week. Vanna White is Verizon's California Literacy Spokesperson.
Congratulations to the children who will be joining us and congratulations to thier parents for having such outstanding readers!
