BookPALS donates 12 book basket libraries to the 5th & 6th grade classes at Palomino II Elementary School

BookPAL Steven Fried reads to 12 classes in the library at Palomino II School. Steve didn't want "his" kids to go without books for the holidays. Thanks to a generous donation to BookPALS from the Arizona PGA golfers, teachers were able to select the exact books they wanted in their book basket classroom library. Trader Joe's graciously donated the baskets. During Ellen Nathan's 2005 annual visit to Arizona for the BookPALS workshop, BookPALS delivered all the baskets to the teachers and students. The delighted students responded with touching thank you notes.
