Book Recommendation:Mrs Millie's Painting

Or pretty much any book by Matt Ottley. It is a wonderful story about an elderly woman who wants to win the local flower show (and beat nasty Mrs Compost.) It has an underlying theme of accepting yourself and not being afraid to be yourself.

Book Recommendation:The Wee Mouse Who Was Afraid of the Dark

A great book for the kids who like animals and have a fear of the dark!

Reading Tip:Even Older

Even older children like having books read to them I wish people still read aloud to me but 14 is supposedly too old to be read to. I just listened to all the books read by actors and it was great! It was definatly different than reading to myself. Thanks a lot for that! Anyway just remember that even older kids like being read to.
