Rosie, 12, is helping her Granny Torrelli make soup. However, on this day, Rosie is mad at her best friend Bailey (also 12). Rosie and Bailey have been friends since...forever. Granny knows Rosie is distressed about Bailey and keeps prodding... Well, after many stories and much soup, the problem is revealed and soon resolved. Granny Torrelli's next visit involved making pasta (from scratch), and Bailey is invited to help prepare it. Through conversation, the preparation and partaking of good food, these children learn valuable life lessons. However, this story also underscores the value of love: Between two friends, Within a family, and Community.
